Welcome

Hello! I am so glad you are here.

Licensed Professional Counselor, Supervisor, and
National Certified Counselor

Have you ever felt like the world is moving faster than you
can keep up? Maybe you are carrying the weight of everyone
and everything around you and feel as though you are doing
it alone.

I believe it takes great courage—or moxie—to seek
counseling. Whether a life change is unexpected or planned,
even joyful milestones can create stress, uncertainty, and
emotional strain.

Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, I work
with clients to discover their strengths and tap into their
own inner moxie to foster meaningful, lasting change.

I offer a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to each
individual, providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental
environment where clients can navigate life’s challenges
and rediscover resilience.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Education with a focus in
Counseling from Lamar University. Before becoming a
counselor, I received my Bachelor of Science in Education
with a specialization in Special Education from Sam Houston
State University.

My professional background includes work as an educator and
school counselor, along with extensive experience supporting
children and adolescents with special needs, including
autism, learning disabilities, and ADHD.

I have also supported students and families through crisis
response work and have experience helping people process
trauma, major life transitions, and the secondary trauma
that can accompany caregiving and high-stress professions.

When I am not in sessions, you will often find me outdoors.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dogs, traveling,
hiking, playing games, visiting family, and gardening.

I am passionate about helping people discover their strength
from within, and I look forward to the opportunity to work
with you.

Warmly,
Lynna Arbogast, M.Ed., LPC-S, NCC
